Interested in exploring the best restaurants in Dimes Square – NYC’s trendiest microneighborhood? Nestled within the vibrant streets of Lower East Side, Dimes Square boasts a handful of gems that cater to diverse palates and culinary preferences. Lucky for you, I’m a Dimes Square resident and can really give you the insider scoop here 😉 I love this neighborhood and especially enjoy it when the weather in NYC is perfect as the streets shut off and everyone dines outside – truly Canal St. the edgy European vibe it always deserved.

Cheers to your gastronomic adventure of discovering the best restaurants this eclectic neighborhood of Dimes Square has to offer.

1. Corner Bar: Best Restaurants Dimes Square, NYC

With its cozy ambiance and inviting atmosphere, Corner Bar is a neighborhood favorite. Known for its innovative cocktails and curated selection of craft beers, this establishment is perfect for unwinding after a long day or catching up with friends over drinks. Whether you’re craving classic cocktails or adventurous concoctions, Corner Bar’s friendly staff and relaxed vibe make it a must-visit spot in Dimes Square. Make sure to ask to eat in their enclosed dining room for the most NYC vibes. Although the restaurant is pricey, we found the food to meet expectations.

2. Cervos: Best Restaurants Dimes Square, NYC

Step into Cervos and prepare to be dazzled by its contemporary take on coastal Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. From fresh seafood to mouthwatering pasta dishes, Cervos delights diners with its emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and bold flavors. Whether you opt for the grilled octopus or the homemade tagliatelle, each dish at Cervos is a testament to the chef’s dedication to culinary excellence. Note that reservations are hard to come by and the restaurant is cozy tight – I’ve been lucky and been able to walk in and get a table for 2 before.

3. Casino: Best Restaurants Dimes Square, NYC

For those seeking a taste of Italy in the heart of Dimes Square, look no further than Casino. This charming trattoria serves up authentic Italian fare with a modern twist. From wood-fired pizzas to homemade pastas, every bite at Casino is a symphony of flavors that transports diners to the streets of Rome. Pair your meal with a glass of fine wine from their extensive selection, and savor the essence of la dolce vita. Note, reservations are hard to come by so make sure to reserve in advance. I have gotten lucky to walk-in on a weeknight and get a table for six.

4. Bacaro: Best Restaurants Dimes Square, NYC

Bacaro Best Restaurants Dimes Square NYC

Inspired by the bacari of Venice, Bacaro offers a culinary journey through the flavors of Italy’s Veneto region. With its cozy interior and welcoming ambiance, Bacaro invites diners to experience the art of cicchetti – small plates meant for sharing and savoring. Indulge in a selection of artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and delectable small bites, all paired with carefully curated wines and spirits. What I love most about Bacaro is how easy it is to get a reservation. This restaurant is what I would consider a best kept secret of Dimes Square.

5. Kikis: Restaurants in Dimes Square, NYC

Kikis Best Restaurants Dimes Square NYC

While Kikis may be renowned for its lively atmosphere and vibrant crowd, its culinary offerings leave much to be desired. Despite its popularity among locals and visitors alike, Kikis falls short when it comes to food quality and consistency. The only reason Kiki makes our list is for the scene and cabin-like interior. You’ll always see a line wrapped up around the restaurant and the interior makes you feel like you’re in a cabin somewhere far away from NYC.

Dimes Square stands as a testament to New York City’s real estate market re-inventing itself. Although a tiny area at the corner of the LES and Chinatown, you can still find an awesome range of dining experiences to suit your taste preference. This place is truly a gem when the weather is lovely with the streets filled with young people, giving a european vibe.
